Joanne Ireland is one of San Francisco's leading consultants with over 20 years of broad experience in planning, coordination, and management of conferences, meetings, and special events.
As Founder and President of Ireland Presentations since 1987, Joanne and her team have been responsible for the orchestration and delivery of special event projects & programs, working with small organizations, private individuals and large corporations on local, national, and international levels.
With a business background in administration, marketing and business development, Joanne brings strategic planning and implementation skills to event planning, supporting corporate events as a key part of a company’s marketing, sales and public relations programs.
Her organizational expertise includes: design and management of project standards and content, conceptualization and design of project strategy, and management and contractual negotiations with outside contractors and vendors. She is also instrumental in the development and tracking of budgets, timelines and schedules, as well as the coordination and management of project team members to assure smooth and efficient implementation of the project. She serves as the primary liaison for the project team with the client and all vendors.
Her extensive project experience includes conferences, customer summits, seminars and training programs, corporate meetings, executive retreats, trade and study tours, tradeshows, user group meetings and company celebrations.
Joanne is a member of Meeting Planners International (MPI) and Women in Consulting (WIC), as well as being a past Director of the Rotary Club of San Francisco and Youth Matters, Inc. She has also been recognized for her accomplishments by her peers in business including the San Francisco Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners. A sought-after speaker and writer, she co-authored and facilitated a workshop titled "Marketing Consulting Services Through Seminars", has written numerous industry articles, been interviewed by industry magazines and been a guest speaker for several associations including NAWBO and the San Diego Tourism Authority's Project San Diego Tourism, a training program for hotel sales managers. She has been interviewed and videotaped by the Santa Clara Convention Center for a presentation to their Board of Directors meeting, speaking of her positive experiences working with the City of Santa Clara. Her generous volunteer efforts, coupled with her active involvement in the planning and facilitation of many events for nonprofit and community service organizations have been lauded by the community.
